| 1 Sword Style |
Ittoryu, also known as 1 Sword Style and 1SS, is a Fighting Style that consists of powerful, versatile techniques unleashed by a single blade.
This style is based on combos and can be used for grinding and PVP. It takes a heavy toll on Stamina but can dish out a lot of damage if the user's sword is powerful. This style can be difficult to use/get used to in PVP if your opponent knows what they're doing. Be aware of your start-ups in your moves.
It is generally used without a devil fruit, and most people abandon it if they get one. The player must keep in mind that they cannot have two fighting styles at once. Switching it will replace the past one.
You can obtain this fighting style at Roca island, Directly East of Shells town.

The user slashes their sword to create a swirl of compressed air that has decent range and cooldown time. Mostly used for sniping NPCs from afar.

The user readies their sword before slashing many times. It can deal up to 27 slashes, the last having a slight increase in damage.

The user expands their consciousness and when the key is released, the user attacks everything inside the field in an instant and block-breaking anything inside of the area. Can be held to slowly increase the field's size, at the cost of stamina. Damage is not increased if charged up longer.

The user moves at hypersonic speed to where the cursor is pointing. If anybody is in the way, they will get slashed, dealing tons of damage. Decent movement skill. Can be blocked by turning around.

The user creates a dragon made from energy which will plummet down onto wherever the user aims, creating a crater on impact and dealing burn damage to all targets hit. This move can be used to chop down trees.

Pros[]
- 1 Sword Style has a heavy focus on combos. Making use of them can give a large advantage in PVP.
- Great potential for high damage.
- Powerful AoE block-breaker move.
- Greater base block duration if compared to other Fighting Styles.
- 36 Caliber Phoenix is a great combo finisher.
- Rapid slashes can be used to shred through logia barriers without armament haki.
- Shishi Sonson and Raging Serpent can create a simple combo.
- Shishi Sonson is good for combos.
- Moves have great AoE.
- Raging Serpent is block breaker
- Rapid Slashes is a good punish move.
- Dragon Blaze has both huge range and AoE, along with it being a block break, making it very reliable in a combo.
- 1SS is a good option now that geppo is universal now with rapid slashes being able to kill captains quickly.
- Pretty high damage output, even higher than 2ss's.
- Overall excellent for PvP.
Cons[]
- Drains Stamina greatly and does not last in a long battle unless the Stamina stat is focused on.
- The style also requires that the user can predict when their opponent is going to unblock, since most moves can be blocked.
- Dragon Blaze requires a total of 200 skill points to unlock.
- While the ultimate can hit logia users without Haki, the fire damage will not damage them, which is usually the main damage source from the move.
- Shishi Sonson can be avoided with Ken Haki despite having an AoE.
Trivia[]
- This fighting style is good for grinding and PvP, however you should keep an eye on the stamina due to it's excessive stamina drain. Rapid Slashes is extremely useful in farming, and 1SS overall is a great replacement for a fruit if the user doesn't have one.
- 1 Sword Style can not be used alongside another fighting style.
- The player's first Katana can be bought for
999 on the same island One-Sword Style can be found, which is required to unlock the 1SS (Roca Island). - Often used as main damage source by Hie users.
- On early development, there was an air-slash move extremely similar to Rankyaku called Bird Dance (linked video is now private). It was likely removed due to 1SS exceeding the "new" moveset limit. Luckily it can be viewed on streamable
- Learning this Fighting Style won't reset any Stat (Except Black Leg), not even strength.
