The bounty system is a system that can progressively make the game harder for some players.
The higher the bounty, the harder the game gets (Somewhat). It also gives increased damage/hp in public servers. Does not, however, affect arena mode.
The current maximum capacity for bounty is 1,500,000 bounty. (It may change in future updates.)
How to Obtain Bounty[]
Currently, there are only 2 ways of getting bounty in-game. Those methods are:
- Ship farming, which can earn you around 5 bounty from Marine Cannoneers and 10 from the Captain.
- Stealing another players bounty (By gripping them) or just gripping normal players without any bounty(gives 10 bounty).
By far, the most effective way of gaining bounty is through ship farming, due to the fact with high bounty, more marine/pirate ships will spawn and target your ship and you can gain more bounty. It should be noted that you can't get bounty from ship after 125,000k
Pros and Cons[]
Pros[]
- More Marine/Pirate ships can spawn, making your chances of getting a Devil Fruit higher.
- Krakens and Sea Serpents spawn quicker, making grinding for weapons and armour and Devil Fruits easier.
- Grants players HP and Damage buffs depending on how high their bounty is.
Cons[]
- Bounty Hunters will target you in public servers, and you have a very high risk of losing your bounty.
- Traveling between 2 islands that are far away with high bounty may cause more ships to spawn, making it annoying sometimes.
- Getting to max bounty can take super long if you don't have a good enough Devil Fruit, or no fruit at all.
Tips and Tricks[]
- If farming for bounty alone, be sure to use a Devil Fruit like Magu-Magu or Mera-Mera. Fruits that can walk on water or fly in place are extremely good for farming ships.
- It is significantly easier to farm ships with both a Kraken Core and a Sea Serpent's Core on you.
