Kori Island is an abandoned snowing island island filled with ice sheets and yetis, most well-known for its' Busoshoku Haki teacher Ray.

It is located South-West of Zou, South from Orange Town, and South from Sphinx Island ship dock.

Unlike most other islands there is no spawn-point NPC (Robo) on this island, the closest other spawn point is the Sandora NPC.

Here, the player can buy the Kori Island Eternal Pose from Bomi for PeliW 4000, and more importantly, learn Busoshoku Haki. To do so, players must first reach Level 80. When talking to Ray with the sufficient level requirement, he will request them to give him PeliW 25000. Once paid, it will initiate a special quest requiring the player to defeat 50 Yetis, and once that is completed, he will grant you Busoshoku Haki.

(NOTE: This has been changed and if you leave the game the quest will still be there, but taking on another quest will reset it and require you to pay the full amount again.

The island inhabits Yetis and Ray, the Busoshoku teacher. Ray is located on the highest point of the island, next to a big snow-filled abandoned house.

Additionally, the island has 4 chests.

Quests[]

Defeat 50 Yeti(s)

  • Level: 80+
  • Total XP: 8000 XP
  • Total PeliW: 8500
  • Each Yeti gives 80 XP and PeliW 85.

Tips[]

With around 90-105 defense points most players can "tank" one snowball and 3 punches from the Yetis, being able to fight them easily. They just have to be sure do not aggro more than 1 Yeti, because it'll be hard to escape alive.

There is a way to glitch the Yetis into the houses and then hit them through the walls but it can be hard to get them in. They can also throw snowballs through the walls.

You can also aggro all the Yetis and get inside a house and hit them through the walls. If you stay at the right distance from them they won't be able to attack you in any way. It is recommended to use 1SS's move: Rapid Slashes or Black Leg's: Party Table Kick Course.

If you have Bomu Bomu no Mi, then you can aggro all the Yetis from the roof of a house, and then use Self Destruct in order to kill them all. Although, you'd have to do this a couple times, because Self Destruct doesn't one shot unless you have 1200+ health.

Due to the recent update, the quest has been lowered to 50 Yetis, making it easier to get Busoshoku.
