The Scorched Heart is a Rare item obtained by taking 5,000 burn damage. It will automatically be put into your inventory upon taking the required amount of fire damage.

Usage[]
The Scorched Heart is used in order to obtain Demon Step, a fighting style which uses flaming kicks (which can be obtained by talking to Puff at Coco Island).
Obtainment Methods[]
Pika Pika no Mi, Magu Magu no Mi, Mera Mera no Mi, Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Phoenix, Demon Step, Ito Ito no Mi, Moria's Scissors (With Kage), Mochi Mochi no Mi (Only things that burn)
Obtaining[]
To obtain the Scorched Heart, the player must take 5,000 burn damage from any type of attack, such as Devil Fruits and Swords.
By far the best obtainment method that takes the least amount of time is by having a friend with the Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Phoenix, as they can both heal you when you get low by adding you to a party, and combining the barrage fire damage tick with the talons m1 damage fire tick.
If you don't have the Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Phoenix you can have a Pika Pika no Mi use light ray on you. They can hold light ray for 0.5 seconds, and you will get around 70 burn damage each time. This method allows you to get the scorched heart in 10 minutes or less.
This item can also be easily obtained by trapping Flame Admiral Zeke (found at Marine Base G1) behind the door of a room near his spawn location, then allowing him to spam his devil fruit abilities at the player. After 20 minutes (for people without Logia) and 10 to 20 minutes (for people with max Logia), you should get enough burn damage to get the item. This item will automatically be transferred to your inventory when you reach 5,000 burn damage.
An easier way to do this if you don't have the preferred health is to get a friend who has 1 Sword Style and ask him to use the last move (Dragon Blaze) about 23 times. You should have at least 120 health if you want to do it this way. It's better for those who don't feel like grinding enough health to use Zeke.
You could also obtain this item easily by having a friend with the Magu Magu no Mi and ask your friend to do eruption everytime your HP is full.
*Note you need at LEAST 335 HP just so eruption with 500 in DF stats burn damage won't kill you.
Trivia[]
- The progression time of the Flame Admiral Zeke method depends on your health regen rate or/and your overall health. You do not have to be a certain level to get the Scorched Heart, meaning you possibly could get the Scorched Heart even if you were level 1, however it would take longer.
- Update 3.5 made it untradeable.
- Can be obtained in a Private Server
- If the player has a friend with them, they can go into a Private Server and turn on PVP pads (!pvppads) and let him deal burn damage while staying on the green pad.
- The burn damage carries onto other servers and will not reset upon leaving/logging off the game.
